Alan comes from a building and mechanical engineering background and has a good understanding of various projects and the requirements to make them work. He has 25 years law enforcement experience, a testament to the sense of achievement he enjoys from helping others. Alan has been actively involved in sport all his life and through coaching and mentoring has passed along his positive attitude and life skills to others.

Through his experience, Alan has acquired sound cultural competence, which is reflected in his ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures.
